Stewardship 2025
Deep Roots : Wide Branches
This fall, we’ve been exploring what it means to be a church with both “Deep Roots and Wide Branches.” The flourishing of our ministries depends not only on what we do out in the world, but also on what we nurture within. In a culture of distraction and instant gratification, we are called to be dedicated people who put down roots in God and in community, through thoughtful faith, prayerful worship, and heartfelt fellowship. This season of stewardship is not only about meeting a budget. It is about responding to God’s call to be a rooted people.

DEDICATION
Deep Roots : Wide Branches
At the Kirk of Kildaire, we want to be a church with wide branches. We want to be a place where people of all walks of life find a home in the grace of God, and a community that reaches out to those who are hurting and in need.
But wide branches require deep roots. Our commitments to God, in faith and prayer, and to one another, through community and care, provide the strength to support our outreach to our neighbors and our world.
And yet, we live in a time where growing deep roots is becoming harder to do. Modern life is designed for flexibility, comfort, and instant gratification. But Christ calls us to be dedicated people-to aim long and deep, rather than fast and shallow.
We Know and Live God’s Love For:

Our trained Stephen Ministers walk alongside those who are grieving and hurting, offering support, prayer, and compassionate listening.

As a Matthew 25 Congregation, we strive to live Christ’s call to care for the ‘least of these,’ working to address hunger, homelessness, and poverty within our neighborhood.

Through our Guatemala Village Partners, we share in ministry with the people of Pala, Guatemala, through financial aid, educational initiatives, and mission work.
