Position Summary:

Kirk of Kildaire Presbyterian Church (USA) is a congregation with a deep commitment to local mission and service to our neighbors. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Director of Mission & Community Outreach to provide administration, oversight, and management in support of the church’s mission work. This non-ordained staff position involves collaborating with Kirk staff, the Kirk Mission Committee, Kirk members, and partner organizations to support and uplift those outside the Kirk congregation in need of assistance.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is preferred.
• Strong Christian faith and regular participation in a church community
• Experience as a leader of volunteers.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Spanish language skills are preferred.
• Effective interpersonal skills, including sensitivity to individuals, a welcoming attitude, understanding the need for confidentiality, and using tact and kindness in dealing with a variety of people.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
