Kirk Youth Ministry provides faith development opportunities for 6th-12th grade students at Kirk of Kildaire Presbyterian Church in Cary, NC
There is something for everyone!
Our Vision
Equipping disciples to be confidently grounded in God’s presence and love.
Get to Know Us
Rooted in the life and words of Jesus Christ, we support and encourage youth to grow in their faith by building relationships and community where they can openly discuss the joys and struggles of their lives, providing a safe place to discover and celebrate their God-given gifts, and empowering them to live out their faith through service and leadership with the Kirk and the broader community.
Acts 2:42-47
“The believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to the community, to their shared meals, and to their prayers. A sense of awe came over everyone. God performed many wonders and signs through the apostles. All the believers were united and shared everything. They would sell pieces of property and possessions and distribute the proceeds to everyone who needed them. Every day, they met together in the temple and ate in their homes. They shared food with gladness and simplicity. They praised God and demonstrated God’s goodness to everyone. The Lord added daily to the community those who were being saved.”

Confirmation
Confirmation is a special time when youth have the opportunity to carefully reflect on and explore their faith and relationship with God. The confirmation year is one of discovery and experience. It is a chance to ask and attempt to answer questions of faith in a relaxed, fun, and safe environment with others who are on the same journey.
For more information or to sign up for next year, please contact Rev. Stephanie Workman or call the church office, 919-467-4944.
Retreats
Throughout the school year, we have a number of retreats available for every youth age! Our middle school retreat is scheduled for this fall, while the high schoolers will have a retreat of their own in the spring. Locations are TBD, but each retreat will come with opportunities for our youth to get out of town, connect with each other and God, and find rest away from the busyness of life!
